Setting it up

As you will remember from the Introductory Talk’s page in Module 1, Introductory Talks are one of the primary ways to communicate with women the feeling and energy of Golden Lotus, and the sense of sisterhood. These talks are circles, and share the energy and wisdom of Golden Lotus with a meditation and a way of communicating. Introductory talks are important for women as they are often drawn towards this work but don’t know the specific nature of the energy, practices or the content.
Our introductory talks will be scheduled Online during this time - however further into the year we can also explore in person introductory talks. Introductory talks are best scheduled with the venue you intend to do your course/circles at, and when hosting online it is easier to prepare your space, and you focus more on the dynamics of feeling the women and connection with the energy, and less on the preparatory elements of setting up your venue and those additional logistical concerns which will be a pleasure to address later. In this instance you can focus on your own altar which may be something you tend to in private, or in view of where you host your calls.
Introductory talks can cover some of the egg use as well, or simply be about the work, yourself and the content. It’s up to you how you decide to include or not include the work of the egg in your introductory content - however you may wish to consider if you will be suggesting the use of eggs to your participants as a method to determine how much information to give. We will make it easy for you to track the sales of eggs and online content from your sign ups and be completely transparent about all online sales and purchases so that you can claim your commission/affiliate fees - even if your participants do not use your personal affiliate links.

Ritual for opening the space

Exercise: I invite all of you to set up your space and intention for an introductory talk. As we prepare this field of ritual and ceremony, we will take the time to do an exercise to call on our desired outcome, and ground into manifesting this space.

When I begin an offering; channel a talk, or a retreat, I begin finding myself in a comfortable space, and generating an Altar for this offering. This can look like anything to you; before I channeled Golden Lotus I was in the bathtub and a huge stream of light told me to go and buy plants and candles and put them in my apartment. Once I had fully completed the Altar with the 13 Jade Goddess (the plants) of this lineage, the channeling was revealed to me.

This example is of course not a comparable situation for an introductory talk - however it shows the energies which will make themselves available to you to channel and receive your leadership as you engage with this work.

Regularly I will simply light a few candles or just one to open the space of a class or a call, and feel what would like to be in this space. Initially the writing on this page did not begin with this ritual, and through breathing into this space, it as revealed that the ceremony that I naturally begin all events with needed to be channeled or written out to encourage you all to anchor your leadership and truly envision your energy vibrating in the space, before you begin to plan your event.

“When I open the field of an event, I write out the places I want to advertise, the people I can already see in the space with me, the online forums and communities I see, the women I want to personally email or share the event to - and those women I also want to ask to join just simply to support me.”

I invite you to sit with yourself and tune into the vision of the Golden Moon rising above you, and draw this Moon into your Womb and Pelvic bowl. Feel yourself rich and fertile as you hold this magnificent feminine form, glowing and luminous inside of your womb.
Begin to feel it’s magnetic energy pulling the Waters of the women in your life and journey towards you. Feel this energy beginning to active and shift the times, flows, and energies of your life.

Call into the space your Kidney Meditation; allowing the Fire of your Heart to rest down into the cool holding of your Kidneys, your lower body, and receive the beautiful illuminated essence of pelvic bowl. Drop into your heart, womb, and desires, and open your mind to receive around why you truly decided to embark on this journey of holding space and leadership.

What do you see happening for you, and the women you lead?
What are your desires and dreams for this space?

Take a moment to deeply reflect on your dreams for ushering women through this space, and how far you wish to see them go with yourself, your work and your embodiment. What are the events and the rituals which you envision in the future which excite you, or the things you wish to offer and lead in your community, or bring to fruition in your own Being on this journey?

This deep level of intention towards your own dreams and desires through leadership - the ceremonies and creations and shared offerings and events you truly see yourself becoming / being part of is such a big part of the trajectory and vision - Liver energy - of our journey. Please take a moment to deeply feel into your Liver and full embrace the vision of your sisterhood and your Heart when you connect to the women you see in your life.

Now holding this vision, being to draw this vibration into your body, in stillness, allow it to saturate into your cells, your saliva glands, your membranes, and vibrate your body and Being with this deep energy of your true, authentic, Inner Self, illuminated with this vibration of belonging, of becoming, of Home. Draw on your Spleen energy.

Finally, I invite you to breathe into this space, taking 3 deep, long, breaths into your solar plexus, and anchor your breath, vision, and energy through your whole body and fill your Lungs and chest with this expansive energy.

Now ignite your Heart energy and take your hands to your Heart in prayer position, or place them on your Heart. Taking three deep breaths into the completion of your Level 1 journey as a Participant and entering into the Sacred Space of Temple Leadership, take your pen, and give through the palms your agreement and signature to this beautiful movement, and to shaping your leadership journey.

Sacred Initiation & Agreement
I, _________, now openly my Heart to deeply accept the lineages, energies, and responsibilities implied by joining this loving movement of feminine embodiment and leadership. I commit to performing the duties aligned to my Temple duties and responsibilities to the best of my abilities and even beyond my imagined limitations. I open to abundance and accept to receive through my role of service and love. I enter into this service of the Temple of the Heart with consciousness and trust, voluntarily and in solidarity to Golden Lotus and it’s teachings for my own personal growth and for all women globally. Write all of these down. Once you are finished, blow out your candle, and sit with your paper, mapping any elements of your intuited space into the logistical aspects of your desired journey. Not all things will necessarily make sense, but when we gather next it will be ideal to have a sense of what you will be bringing as a whole and complete experience and shape to share into the space.

*Note: I actually call in/write down the women I can see in the space. If you don’t know their faces, write the number women you see in the space.

Logistics and Leadership

The most important element of choosing your structure, and communicate your facilitation and leadership with confidence is is transparency and congruence. If you say you are providing a offering, be very clear about what that offering is. Don’t be afraid to share your own notes and timelines with participants so that they can regulate themselves, and honour the timings you set.

Things to be very clear on when setting up your online circle are the following:

FIRST INTRODUCTORY TALKS

Based on your meditation, make a trajectory of your commitments and dates - such as this:
i. Introductory Talk for Golden Lotus Online Work & Jade Egg Talk
ii. Golden Lotus Online Temple Circle Dates (5 Weeks - map out the dates)
iii. Golden Lotus Global Entry (final merging)

Once you have done this you may need to consider a few elements logistically; pricing and mapping your participants so commissions can be paid, language, and whether or not you will maintain Moon Circles and Sisterhood Groups for those women in your own language or simply invite them into the Global Group and have them join the Online Temple Global Calls.

You will also need to decide if you would like to purchase a Zoom account, or block off times to use the Golden Lotus Zoom Account. You may also choose to generate a private Facebook group for your 5 week journey and women, etc. which will be where you post moving them into the Global Group at the end - or you may wish for them to join the Global Group from the beginning. 

Final Exercise

Exercise: I invite all of you to set up an introductory talk in the space where you will plan to host your sisterhood circles.

1) Post on the Facebook Golden Lotus ✨Priestess & Practitioner Portal specifying the time and place of your event (and language) so we can discuss and approve this on our June 7th call.

2) Make a list of women who you choose to join simply to support you - friends and women you wish to invite into the space for comfort, to be connected to someone or something which is nourishing you as you may be feeling anxiety. Even if the women do not initially say yes, call in the number of women you envision in this space by regularly lighting a candle, meditating upon the energy of the space you wish to hold, and remember to write out those names, and any details or elements of the meditations, and channeled information you feel from the field of the space.

3) Once this is completed, and we have discussed and approved all of the logistical elements of the your first online event, Golden Lotus will add you to the social media calendar, and our Facebook - and even the website. You are also welcome to make a post on your own Instagram or Facebook and tag us.
